2025-2026 Season - Update

I regret to share that there will not be a YETI Club this year. Unfortunately, bus companies are no longer willing to travel the Powder Mountain road, Brighton did not respond to multiple outreach attempts, and—most importantly—snow conditions are dangerously sparse. Under these circumstances, the terrain is not safe for most riders.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

2025-2026 Season

 Hey Groms,

This year is looking good.  We finally got a little bit of snow and resorts are starting to open.  I will get quotes ASAP.

Here are the dates we’re looking at:

  • Thursday, Feb. 19: Night riding at Powder Mountain or Nordic Valley (if they open for nights this year)
  • Thursday, Mar. 5: Night riding at Powder Mountain or Nordic Valley
  • Monday, Mar. 9: Twilight pass at Brighton (We’ll probably leave the school at noon. Twilight passes are good from 1 p.m. until close.  The kids will not miss class.  This is a teacher work day.)

Sign-ups will take place in January. We’ll update the blog, hang up flyers at school, and make announcements to keep everyone informed.

Happy Holidays,
Annie & Derek

Williams' Pics 3.10.25 Brighton

Warning: There are a lot of pics of my adorable kids.  Most of the YETI kids run off, refuse to be photographed, or I can't tell who they are in ski gear.

Brighton Update

I made a mistake.  Brighton's twilight passes start at 2pm, not 1pm. The bus will now load at12:30pm and depart at 12:45pm (instead of 12pm).  We will reload at 7:45pm and return to LJH around 9pm.
